Laboratory Technician

Our client is a globally-renowed manufacturer of a range of cleaning and personal healthcare products and a strong reputation for quality. There is currently an exciitng opportunity for a Laboratory Technician based at their north-western Sydney location for immediate start. The role will be on a casual basis, but is expected to be full-time hours on an ongoing contract. All training will be provided, so recent graduates would be considered.

Duties include:

- Routine QC testing of chemicals, both raw materials and finished products
- Preparing and analysing samples using wet chemistry or instrumentation
- Operating HPLC and GC, troubleshooting and calibration
- Ensuring finished products meet expected performance

To be successful you must have:

- Tertiary qualifications in a scientific field, with chemistry particularly well regarded
- Dedication to quality and safety
- Strong understanding of a fast-paced commercial laboratory environment
- Familiarity with cleaning and healthcare products a plus
- A desire to learn new skills and challenge themselves
