**Role**

Food Production worker (Level 2) will work with the Kitchen Lead to oversee the production and distribution of the product and work with other kitchen employees to achieve production targets.

The Food Production worker must follow all guidelines and procedures to safely manufacture Pascal’s Pork Scratchings, including:

- The preparation of raw ingredients
- Packing finished/cooked product
- Performing or delegating tasks to maintain the kitchens & cool room cleanliness
- Oversee the cleaning & maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Assists in the provision of on-the-job training
- Ensure all work station stock levels are maintained
- Maintain work place safety in all areas of the kitchen, cool room & dry stock areas

Adhering to strict OH&S procedures the Food Production worker will manage the completion of daily shipping & distribution, including:

- Pick & packing orders
- Correctly labelling boxes
- Organising shipments according to carriers & couriers
- Ensure the shipping & distribution work stations are kept clean and tidy

**Work Experience**
- Washing & sanitising kitchen equipment
- Cleaning & sanitising kitchen areas (all workstations)
- Following OH&S procedures
- Maintaining stock levels
- Supervising employees
- Pick & packing orders

**Certification**

The following certificate would be desirable, however can be obtain on the job:

- Food Safety Certified
- Cert 1 - Food Processing or equivalent industry experience

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Communication skills
- Strong reading & writing skills
- Exercise good judgment within defined procedures
- Able to work under general supervision
- Food safety knowledge

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

**Salary**: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
