**About the role**

Due to a vacancy, we have an opportunity for an experienced Material Expeditor to join our Henderson on a permanent basis. This opportunity is part of the WAMA Supply Chain Team and contributes to provision and management of inventory required in support of Department of Defence repair and maintenance activities.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Developing, managing and maintaining Task Material Lists (TML);
- Raising routine, urgent and high priority demands for items of supply;
- Continually expediting the delivery of materials to achieve best outcomes for end users;
- Cancellation and deferrals of material demands, as required;
- Investigation and rectification of any anomalies and discrepancies;
- Facilitating reverse logistics of returnable materials;
- Provide regular updates and reporting to users; and
- Contribute to the enhancement of the inventory and logistics capability, systems and procedures.

**About you**

Essential
- Experience in Supply Chain activities;
- Proven high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills;
- Strong relationships management skills;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight time restraints;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable
- Previous procurement experience, minimum 4 years;
- Experience and understanding in the use of MILIS, LNIDS, SAP and other ERP systems;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight time restraints;
- The ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at different levels;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands & handle multiple complex tasks;

Essential Compliance Requirements
- Experience using the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS);
- Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance;
- Must be eligible to obtain a Construction Induction Card (White Card).
