You would be joining the Fire Service Division of the company and servicing one of the key client bases.
**Your new role**
Your new role will be a Fire Technician/Sprinkler Fitter in the service team working on commercial sites across the Sydney area. This role will involve conducting inspections & testing in accordance with AS1851-2012, corrective and reactive maintenance and 24/7 emergency services for their clients' key fire assets. Your responsibilities would be as follows:
- Routine Inspections & testing of wet fire systems in accordance with regulations
- Perform service and repairs on various different types of fire systems
- Interacting with clients and assisting with quoting of work, providing the client with the best outcome
- Attending call-outs as per roster, which can be after hours.
- Monitoring and supervising apprentices
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients
- Dismantling devices to clear blockages, adjustments, alter, repair or calibrate devices.
- Coordinating and submitting regular paperwork and daily procedures.
- High level of professionalism and maintaining high levels of work.
- Understanding of HSEQ policies and procedures.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience working in the fire industry in a similar role
- Be a registered sprinkler fitter
- EWP Licence
- Current White Card
- Strong written and communication skills
- Knowledge of Australian Standards
- Great time management skills
- The ability to pass a police check and drugs & alcohol test.
