- Salary: $56,987 - $61,301 p.a. (Pro Rata) ASO2 | Full Time, Until June 2023

As the Secretary, you will provide versatile administrative support for busy paediatric unit, with focus on Children's Assessment Team (report collation and distribution) and other multi-disciplinary teams, such as paediatric asthma and diabetes teams. You will work with a friendly and collaborative group of medical, nursing and allied health clinicians. You will provide secretarial and administrative support to the clinical, research and academic functions of the Department when needed as well as provide a communication link within the Department, between the various Paediatric clinical services and with patients, outside agencies and health professionals.

To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with members of the public, patients, visitors and hospital staff, the ability to use a wide range of computer software packages eg: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Outlook, Access etc, experience in developing, maintaining and controlling appropriate records and filing systems and discretion and empathy when communicating with clients in distress.
