**Job description**:
Our client is seeking an experienced
**Process and Systems Readiness Consultant** to work within the Procurement Process and Systems Improvement Initiative Project on a 6-month contract.

The Process and Systems Readiness Consultant will provide expert
**change management** and
**project management** skills and knowledge of delivering large scale interdependent strategic projects with competing stakeholder priorities. Previous project management experience and knowledge of SAP Ariba is critical. In particular, experience with the business integration impacts as opposed to the technical/ICT implementation.

Working within the Community Value Program Office team, you will be required to quickly gain an understanding of key Divisional projects in Organisational Services and recognise linkages and integrated planning opportunities for synergies and benefits. The role will undertake investigation and pursue opportunities that present themselves as valuable outcomes of the project.

**Key to your succcess, the core deliverables will include**:

- Identify, influence, recommend and drive efficiency in identified projects and business activities and optimise the quality, timing, effectiveness.
- Proactively engage with senior stakeholders to ensure that there is cohesion, integration and optimisation of current cross functional strategic projects and activities.
- Elicit and understand business pain points, recommend options to optimise the current and future strategic projects and activities and document business and functional requirements to achieve better project outcomes.

**Competencies & Skill Level**:

- Previous project management experience and knowledge of **SAP Ariba** is critical; experience with the **business integration impacts**.
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate across all levels of the organisation.
- Well-developed written communication skills to prepare business requirements and functional design documentation to support changes.
- Demonstrated experience in leading Value Stream mapping and automation/ workflow solutions.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes in a time pressured environment with competing responsibilities and priorities.
- Experience with formal business process management tools and approaches such as Agile, BPMN, IBM Blueworks Live, BPM/BPI Methods **(Desirable)**:

- PROSCI qualifications and experience with Human Centred Design approaches **(highly regarded).**
