**Description**:
Osborne Richardson are a specialist recruitment consultancy to the public sector. Our local council client is located in the metropolitan area of Melbourne.

This role involves facilitating procurement activities such as tendering, RFQs, contract preparation, compliance, and reporting.
Additionally, you will provide strategic advice aligned with the Council Plan, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and policies while maximising value for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure procurement processes adhere to policy and procedures
Lead tendering and RFQ processes, including administration and evaluation
Manage contract preparation, compliance, and performance
Provide strategic advice and identify improvement opportunities
About You:
Experience in procurement processes, ideally within the government sector
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and procurement policies
Ability to analyze data and provide informed procurement decisions
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience participating in tender evaluation panels is advantageous
