Quarry Manager Clarence

Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Manager, this role is a multi-faceted role leading the quarry operations and overseeing the daily management, production, health & safety, operational development, and financial activities.

In your new role, you will be:
- Leading and managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals- Making business decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including achieving agreed targets / KPIs, financial planning, business development, and managing costs within budget- Managing the daily operations where you are responsible for quarry development, environmental management, and preventative maintenance schedules- Focused on continuing our approach to environmental improvement and maintaining our reputation within the industry as a responsible and industry leader- Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others

This role is a great fit for you, if you:
- Hold a Tier 2 Quarry Manager Practicing Certificate (essential)- Have an ability to support continuous improvement across quarry operations to establish good performance through insight and innovative planning- Demonstrate a strong leadership mentality with a demonstrated track record in delivering transformational change within a dynamic business organisation- Have the capability to deliver exceptional negotiation and influencing skills when interacting with varying levels of internal and external stakeholders- Have a safety mindset with a total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm- Are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure- You have a positive presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders- You have a high level of resilience and adaptability to changing situations
