Test Automation Lead

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Test Lead to join the Enterprise Testing team in the Information Technology (IT) Department. Reporting into the Quality Engineering Stream, this role will focus on driving optimisation of the test automation framework to ensure consistent, efficient, and effective Test Automation across the enterprise. As part of the role, you will have opportunity to tap into some key trainings and collaborate across various business areas in the Bank.

This role will need proven exposure with crafting test automation frameworks and ability to work with multiple test automation tools.

Your background
- Proven experience and proficiency in test automation using leading tools including but not limited to Selenium, SoapUI and UFT One.
- Innovation towards driving automation efficiencies and coverage effectiveness using different automation framework tools and techniques.
- Craft and develop continuous testing pipeline as a code to integrate automated test suite into CI/CD pipelines.
- Working on experience in using build tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle, etc), source control management tools (e.g. Git Lab, SVN, etc) and continuous integration tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc) in support of automation.
- Mentor and coach testers across IT areas on automation standard processes and support with automation backlog efforts.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence, collaborate and communicate strongly with team and key stakeholders.
- Well versed with API Automation testing using Postman, REST Assured library
- Be a critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is a Permanent role.

Your team

You will be part of Quality Engineering Centre of Excellence team. The team drives test automation uplift or transformation initiatives across the bank by collaborating with different IT areas to instil automation standards and best practices.
