Rtv/refunds Clerk

This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to Costco Australia's e-commerce business. A proactive approach is required; focusing on prompt and detailed research to ensure all needs are met in relation to the return and refund of our member’s online orders. This position will have to work closely with our Member Care team, members, vendors, buyers, Costco warehouses, freight carriers and loss prevention. This person must be able to manage our member’s expectations and ensure we always end up with a positive member experience.

**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Assessing and approving return requests with loss prevention and member care.
- Assessing the most efficient way of returning the product based on its location and disposition.
- Coordinating with freight companies about pick up time and communicating this to members.
- Tracking shipments on various platforms and websites.
- Processing of refunds.
- Coordinating with salvage companies and our depot/warehouses for payment and pick up of items.
- Audit inventory and assist with the physical inventory process.
- Various operations tasks as needed.

**Non - Essential Functions**
- Assists in other areas of the business as necessary.

Education/Training:

- Higher School Certificate or higher.

Knowledge/Skills:

- Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), AS400, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail
- Accuracy while meeting deadlines, team building and personnel development skills, experience with SAP Hybris e-commerce platform
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, positive customer service skills, demonstrated strong leadership, team building and personnel development skills
- Costco warehouse, member service or customer service experience essential
- Flexible team player able to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities while working independently, requires scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including weekends

- Written and verbal communication skills
- Full COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindications certificate
- If successful, you will be required to undertake role and department specific training within specified timeframes
