**Your Role at Nextt**:At Nextt, our disability support workers play a pivotal role in organising and executing daily activities for our clients, which includes providing personal care, assistance with domestic tasks, and facilitating community access.
We currently have a vacancy in the **Ripley South **Region of Brisbane for a **Casual **Disability Support Worker working with our male client. Duties will consist of in home care and community access.
We have the following permanent shifts available:

**Casual 1 - 26 hours per fortnight**
Week 1:
Saturday 12:00 PM to 2200 PM
Sunday 12:00 PM to 2200 PM
Week 2:
Sunday 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM

**Casual 3 - 24 hours per fortnight**
Week 1:
Saturday 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Sunday 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Week 2:
Thursday 1600 PM to 6:00 AM - sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM
Friday 1600 PM to 6:00 AM - sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM

**Your Skills and Experience**:
- Previous Experience in Mental Health Disability Support Work
- Experience working with individuals who have Positive Behavior Support Plans; experience with challenging behaviors is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and management staff
- Ability to complete compliance documentation in a timely manner, such as shift reporting and daily tracking of food and fluids, as well as other reporting requested by management
**Your Certificates and Licenses**:
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Yellow Card) - must be applied or current
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- must be applied or current
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver's License and access to a fully insured vehicle
All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
