Telecommunications Cabler

**Job description**:

- Install, test, and maintain all types of data and telecommunications cabling systems, including copper, fiber optics, and specialised cables for CCTV, AV systems, smoke detectors, and communication networks, among others.
- Lay and route cables through floors, walls, and underground, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair faults in telecommunications and data transmission systems.
- Work with network engineers and technicians to ensure accurate and efficient installations of data, communication, and security systems.
- Ensure that all installations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to plan all kinds of cable routes and installations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installed systems, repairs, and updates.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their cabling needs for a variety of systems and provide tailored solutions.

**Qualifications/Attributes**:

- Must hold a Certificate III/IV in an Electrical Trade or at least 3 years of work experience in lieu of qualification.
- Must possess at least a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with the installation of structured cabling systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards.

**Salary Range**:$70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
