AECOM’s Resource + Industry Business Line (BL) is looking for an engaging and collaborative Team Lead to provide leadership, market engagement and to assist in growing our team in Newcastle, NSW in collaboration with our ANZ and global teams.
Working as part of the Australia & New Zealand Resource + Industry BL team as an integral member of the business line Leadership, you will have accountability for AECOM’s strategic, financial and client outcomes for the business in the Hunter region and NSW.
Your strong relationships with clients in the Hunter Region will enable you to identify, lead and support the continued growth of our business, bringing new business and leveraging opportunities across business units, service lines and regions.
You will be a hands-on leader, responsible for positioning, winning and delivering projects aligned to our ANZ Resource + Industry Strategy. Our projects span diverse domains including:
- ** Mining Infrastructure**: Develop and enhance mining facilities, transportation networks, and logistics systems.
- ** Tailings and Closure**: Implement sustainable tailings management practices and mine closure plans.
- ** Ports Infrastructure**: Contribute to the design and optimization of port facilities.
- ** Water and Wastewater Infrastructure**: Innovate solutions for water supply, treatment, and wastewater management.
- ** Metallurgical and Industrial Processes**: Drive process improvements and operational excellence.
- ** Energy Transition**: Lead initiatives related to hydrogen production, future fuels, and renewable energy integration.

Your extensive consulting experience, excellent knowledge of the Resource and Industrial sector, clients and industry trends, and your strong connections to the ANZ Resource + Industry teams will enable you to quickly establish meaningful relationships with the wider business. Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to challenge teams to look for new and better ways to deliver and grow our expertise through innovative solutions will be key to your success.
