**About the role**

We are currently seeking suitably skilled and experienced Telecommunications Linesworker (Rigger) to join our expanding team for projects in NSW and across Australia.

**As a part of this role your responsibilities will include**:

- Installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications lines, cables, and related equipment
- Carrying out rigging works in the installation of steelwork on structures, including the requirement to climb poles, rooftops, towers and masts
- Maintaining, repairing and analysing faults of telecommunication systems
- Installing RF technologies
- Installation and commissioning of microwave radio technologies including comprehensive understanding of the Antenna systems, including installation of feeders, antennas, hyperflex cables, RRU’s and ancillary equipment
- Performing testing of Radio Frequency systems for Return Loss (RL), Distance to Fault (DTF), VSWR, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) as required.
- Update/Upload appropriate systems with all HOP requirements
- Diagnose and resolve issues with installations, ensuring mínimal downtime for end users.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance checks to verify the performance of installed lines and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including detailed diagrams and reports
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns while representing the company's values.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional service.

**Skills and experience**
- Minimum 3 years experience in the telecommunication industry
- Must have solid background as a Telecommunications Linesworker (Rigger) predominately across Mobile Wireless Networks
- Possess the skills to complete all necessary documentations including but not limited to Redline Markups & HOPs
- Possess sound technical knowledge of the relevant aspects of the various networks and the work practices required by the client.
- Must have experience working with crabs, cherry pickers and EWP’s as required to carry out works on site
- The ability to read and understand cable plans and design
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- The ability to adapt quickly, take on a variety of tasks

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
