Insulation Installer

Easy Insulation is an expanding Father and Son business, with a small team of employees looking for a new casual insulation installer.

All training will be provided, however experience in working on building sites is preferred, asbestos awareness certification and working from heights would be highly considered, but we are willing to train the right applicant.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Install insulation in residential and commercial structures using spray foam and blown in equipment
- Prepare surfaces to be insulated, including cleaning, sealing any cracks or gaps, marking areas and masking
- Mix and prepare spray foam insulation according to manufacturer's specifications
- Conducting inductions where required in a timely manner prior to attending work sites.
- Operate and maintain insulation equipment, including troubleshooting and making repairs as needed
- Assist with workshop maintenance and upkeep where required
- Ensure that all safety procedures and guidelines are followed while working
- Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure a high-quality finished product
- Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and customers as necessary
- Reliable management of expenses, such as fuel via the provided technology.
- Keep detailed records of materials used, work completed, and any issues that arise
- Work flexible hours, to accommodate project timelines
- Ability to lift and move insulation materials, and operate machinery
- Have a valid heavy vehicle driver license and reliable transportation
- Comply with local and national building codes and regulations.

Applicants will require the following.
- A clean driver’s license (auto & manual) of at least a P level and own transport to and from the workshop in Minto (close to the train station)
- A white card (NSW or QLD certified)
- Must be physically fit and comfortable working in a variety of spaces including heights and under floors of homes.
- Comfortable with technology including websites for inductions, ipads and iphones.

After time you may be asked to work overnight jobs in areas of NSW such as the central/east coast, Dubbo etc. Meals and accommodation will be provided during these trips

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Minto, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
