Groundsperson - Cairns

We have an opportunity for a self-motivated, reliable **Groundsperson **to work in Cairns and surrounding areas. The role will deliver a range of services including but not limited to:

- Ensuring all work completed is to the standard required of the contract;
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and is safe working order;
- Operate all equipment/machinery in a safe manner;
- Ensure PPE is used for required tasking;
- General tasking may include, however is not limited to the following:

- Mowing
- Brush cutting
- Edging
- Pruning
- General gardening
- Green waste clearing and removal
- Weed, Pest & Disease control

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrable experience in grounds maintenance and experience in operating grounds maintenance equipment
- Able to perform inherent physical requirements of the role
- Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)

**Qualifications**
- Vehicle and valid Open Class Drivers Licence
- Medium Rigid Truck Licence (preferred)
- Chainsaw Operators Licence or Certificate (preferred)
- ChemCert Certificate (preferred)
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred)
