**LIMS Consultant**
**Reporting to: Service Manager, Digital Science, ANZ, SEA and India**
**Number of Direct Reports: 0**
**Location: Adelaide**

**How will you make an impact?**

As a LIMS Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for providing technical leadership on projects working closely with other consultants, business analysts, technical leads, solution architects, and the Project Manager, reporting to the Services Manager.

**What will you do?**
- Participate in pre-sales discussions with customers and contribute towards solutions design, effort estimation, and SOW authoring
- Be the technical owner of the project and work with the Project Manager to plan, manage, and deliver technical deliverables, to plan
- Play a key role, often as the lead, on solutions design and ensure that deliverables are in line with customer needs
- Ensure project team has clarity on technical solution design and follows coding & configuration guidelines
- Plan the technical work with the project team, aligning with overall project plan managed by the Project Manager
- Be the main contact for technical communication with customer and internal technical investigations and escalation
- Plan and execute technical resource on and off-boarding on the project, as appropriate
- Be responsible for the technical content of the requirements documentation (e.g., RTM, specifications etc.)
- Track and report on progress of technical work to the Project Manager
- Work with the Project Manager on identifying and mitigating project risks and managing change control process
- Drive resolution to technical problems
- Track planned vs. actual hours for the technical deliverables of the project
- Review completed deliverables for quality, accuracy, and completeness of delivery
- At project close, ensure effective knowledge transfer and handover to the technical support team
- Capture and disseminate, as appropriate, meeting minutes for technical discussions with customer

**How will you get here?**
- Experience in Laboratory Informatics, e.g., LIMS (SampleManager required, other LIMS beneficial), ELN, SDMS, Instrument and Systems Integration.
- Technical IT and networking knowledge would be a big plus
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, C#, is necessary
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Scientific or Information Technology field
- Working experience as a design architect in drafting design solutions for highly complex customer implementations is a key performance indicator
- Experience and knowledge of cloud deployments and software architecture in cloud.

- Knowledge in mining, Pharma, food and other regulatory business together with experience in laboratory informatics is advantageous.
- Experience using PostgreSQL is a plus
