**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role Details**:

- + 12% Superannuation
- On the job (paid) training for 12 weeks between Monday to Friday, 3 - 4 hours / day, between 5:00am - 5:00pm
- Casual on call as required after training, (Majority of shifts will be from 5 am, afternoons may occasionally be required).
- Relief position supporting - Booval, Inala, Mount Ommaney, Springfield, Kenmore, Paddington, Brookside Centre

**You’ll be**:

- Manually sorting all mail / parcels arriving at the workplace
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
- Flexible to work autonomously at Booval & Inala or in a small team at the other locations

**About you**

You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. You'll also need to:

- To be completely flexible to travel to all relief locations mentioned above
- Have a current / valid drivers license and access to a vehicle (preferred)
- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
