The Student Services Officer is accountable to the Business Leader for the efficient administration of the student services office by providing a range of administrative and secretarial related services which contributes to the effective operation of the school and achievement of educational outcomes to students.

The Student Services Officer provides a general level of customer service and para-professional skills and works under close direction, exercises some initiative, confidentially, follows direction in the day-to-day student services operations to assist the Student Service Team. The incumbent has general skills in office administration, students absent reporting, use of O365 and first aid training.

The Student Services Officer supports the school’s educational objectives and the school’s vision and priorities.

**What you will bring**:

- General skills in verbal and written communication, established customer service skills and effective working relationships with staff, students’ parents and the wider community.
- General experience in the use of computer systems, including Learner Management Systems such as Daymap or Compass, O365, and EDSAS / EMS
- Proven experience in effective office skills which are normally routine in nature, recording school student absences and telephone customer service
