Our team is looking for a positive, enthusiastic, self-motivated Exercise Physiologist to provide exercise physiology services to our NDIS participants at our clinics in Sydney Olympic Park and Blacktown and a few mobile services to participants in and around the Homebush, Parramatta, Hills and Blacktown regions.

**About Us**
Since 2016, Step Up has provided Adaptive Physical Education (APE) and Physical and Social Activity Group Programs to people with special needs and has expanded to an Allied Health Service, Exercise Physiology. We aim to encourage, motivate and consistently support individuals’ disabilities through high-quality health care services, professional advice, and expertise. Our main clientele is individuals with intellectual disabilities such as autism, down syndrome and developmental delays.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Conduct initial assessments and deliver tailored exercise prescriptions in the clinical and mobile home-visit setting.
- Provide appropriate education, lifestyle modification and behaviour change programs for participants, staff and support workers as required.
- Communicating and working efficiently and collaboratively with the team to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients
**Essential Selection Criteria**:
- One to five years of experience in working with NDIS participants or children
- Excellent independent skills and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Consistent and stable with the level of the services and attendance
- Hold a current P2 or Full License with your vehicle
- Outstanding administration and computer skills
**Required Certificates for this role**:
- Full working rights in Australia
- Bachelor or Master of Exercise Physiology (University Degree)
- ESSA Accreditation (renew every year)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (upon joining)
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate - Online Course (upon joining)
- NDIS Effective Communication Certificate - Online Course (upon joining)
- Disability (Autism) Module Certificates - Online Course (upon joining)
- COVID-19 Infection Control Module - Online Course (upon joining)

**During the 6 months probation period**:
- Full-time EP will start part-time for the first month, gradually transitioning into full-time as they grow their EP participants._
In the first 1-3 months, you will work mainly in the physical and social activity group programs to experience and learn strategies to manage and deliver exercise programs for people with special needs. Depending on the performance of handling/dealing with participants, you will transit into the EP team at a faster rate.
**Hours**:
Full-time (38 hours p.w)
Part-time (25~38hrs p.w.)
**Salary**:
Full-time $72,000~$82,000 per year
Part-time $60,000~$82,000 per year
**Locations**:
- Clinic in Sydney Olympic Park
- Hall Clinics in Blacktown Region
- Mobile services (Homebush, Parramatta, Hills and Blacktown regions)
