**Job Description**:
Join our team as a Service Delivery Manager for Infrastructure and Technical Operations and take on a dynamic role that involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality IT services to our clients.

You will have the opportunity to:

- Manage a talented team of professionals, including on-call roster and extended hours, and provide mentorship and training to help them excel in their roles;
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the successful delivery and sustainment of IT services;
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration;
- Ensure prompt resolution of all Major Technical Incidents by overseeing their progress, minimizing any potential impact on service delivery;
- Provide operational procedures for information technology operations, ensuring they are compliant and adhered to, and recommending or changing them as needed to optimize performance;
- Assist in identifying the process and change impacts from upcoming solution designs, and recommend strategies to enhance service delivery;
- Manage all aspects of the implemented core systems architecture, design, and delivery, and drive maturity across operations, ensuring a consistent level of excellence is maintained at all times;
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators for the operational team, and provide capacity and demand reporting for systems;
- Recommend methods of improvement and see that actions are implemented on time for service delivery upgrades, ensuring continuous improvement;
- Provide accurate and regular reports to management on the performance of the service delivery, including identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for change;
- Lead personnel management, including staff recruitment, performance assessment, training, and mentoring, to ensure that our team members are equipped with the skills they need to deliver exceptional service;
- Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange between departments, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork - Maintain high performance levels for service-related processes, and implement improvement activities wherever necessary, to ensure our clients receive top-notch service at all times;
- Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinate with resolution parties, and establish effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews, to minimize the potential for future issues - Ensure that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery, and that they are constantly reviewed and refined to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness;
- Take accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand, working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve our business goals;
- Analyse third-party as well as internal processes, and create strategies for service delivery optimization, ensuring that we are always at the cutting edge of IT service delivery.

**Qualifications**:
As a leader, your experience has given you strong management, coordination, and collaboration skills, as well as a passion for coaching and development with a view to building high performing teams.

**You will also possess**:

- Proficiency in leading both physical and virtual teams, with a proven track record of success and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential;
- Experience in dealing with internal and external providers, including the ability to manage relationships and drive positive outcomes;
- Operational ability in a diverse, large-scale environment, with experience working in complex IT infrastructures;
- Exceptional customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery, with a mastery of ITIL principles;
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
- Capacity to train and guide junior team members, supporting their growth and development;
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes;
- History and experience in the following areas are highly desirable:

- ITIL 4

- Microsoft Server, Exchange, Active Directory
- Splunk
- NetApp Storage Solutions
- CommVault Backup Services
