Foaling Manager/trainer

Foaling manager/trainer needed for Arabian horse stud in NSW Australia. This is a full time live in position. Duties will include maintaining the health of the mares and foals as well as keeping accurate records of the health of the horses. This includes from pre foaling thru to post foaling. All foalings must be attended. Mares should be trained to accept any human intervention that would be necessary during foaling. All foals are to be trained and handled daily with an emphasis on teaching them to accept restraint. Treating injuries and the capability to follow veterinary prescribed treatments. Duties will also include feeding all mares and foals according to each individual needs. Daily cleaning and disinfecting stables. Training all foals to stand for the farrier. General farm maintenance. Drivers license a must.

**Salary**: $53,900.00 - $70,000.00 per year
