**THE OPPORTUNITY**

MIGAS is proud to be partnering with DPS (Diesel Part & Services), one of Australia’s leading suppliers of horsepower engines, spare parts, water pumps and generators. You will be working on engines, pumps, generators, and spare parts. The workshop position is located in Hamilton in Brisbane's inner north-east side close to the iconic Brisbane River.

Completing this apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Boilermaker and earn your** (MEM30319) Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (**Boilermaking**)**.

As a boilermaking apprentice you will get to expand your skills in learning and working on pumps and generators. Duties includes welding, grinding, thermal cutting, fabricating, measuring, using varies metal and steels, keeping workshop clean and following OHS policies and procedures.

**ABOUT YOU**

Out client is looking for someone who has a can-do attitude,
- Reliable and willing to put in A hard day’s work
- A safety conscience, respectful
- Willing to listen and learn to develop your career
- Focused and committed to learning
- Good mechanical aptitude and previous experience with tools a plus
- Interest in welding and fabricating objects
- Previous experience in a similar industry, or have completed a certificate II in Engineering would be an advantage but not a requirement.
