You will be responsible for maintaining our client’s health and safety performance, environment and implementation of key EHS processes. This will be achieved primarily through training, coaching and the support of local personnel and provision of technical advice.

**The role requires**:

- Strong communication and influencing skills, with management and shop floor personnel, without direct line authority.
- Coordinate legislative audits and reviews and ensure EHS management system certifications are maintained.
- Monitor compliance audit corrective action programs and effective close out of actions.
- Ensure EHS training and induction requirements are met, including maintenance of training records and licenses.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications with experience in Occupational Health & Safety
- Experience with return to work and rehabilitation
- Familiarity with AS4801and/or ISO14001
- Qualifications in Workplace Assessment & Training (Cert IV) preferred.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in an EHS Role in manufacturing environment and demonstrated performance improvement in OHS / EHS systems in a traditional manufacturing / distribution environment and a working knowledge of relevant Environmental & Workplace Health & Safety Legislation and Australian Standards is required.
