We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to assist in maintaining the security posture of the Country Road Group through effectively monitoring our systems and responding adequately to incidents. You will be working across our Cyber Security systems alongside internal IT teams and external service providers. This role is about the effective identification of security problems, resolving them, and working to improve either the response plans, or control systems to continuously improve defences. Your first project would be working with internal and external teams to implement DMARC enforcement across all of our brands.

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit someone who has a strong understanding of security operations, incident response, broad knowledge of cyber security best practices, and with the ability to deliver within a complex and fast paced organisation.

**What does the role involve?**
- Analyse, review, and respond to security alerts, events and vulnerabilities including triaging and advising on mitigation, and improvement activities
- Develop plans or playbooks to respond to and recover from a security breach
- Work with our outsourced Managed Detection and Response team to continually improve and refine the service
- Contribute to enhancing the technical security posture of the organisation
- Assist with the development of regular and ad-hoc information security reports
- Maintain strong working relationships through collaboration on accomplishing shared goals, sharing ideas, and knowledge within the business
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous experience in Security/IT position
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of Cyber Security software and tools
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- The ability to work autonomously to deliver outcomes
- Good understanding CIS and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Security, network, operating system, or cloud certifications
