**SC1** Demonstrated capacity to work independantly in the office environment, as well as the capacity to work with staff and Principal Class.

**SC2 **Highly developed interpersonal, communication, organisational and management skills with demonstrated experience working in a demanding school office or other administration setting**.**

**SC3 **Demonstrated experience and skill in the use of all aspects of CASES21 (administration and finance), Compass or a similar electronic school management system.

**SC4 **High level skills in accounts receivable, banking, EFTPOS transactions and other administrative duties**.**

**SC5 **Ability to manage a small team and work as part of that team to ensure the delivery of high level administrative duties.

**SC6 **Demonstrated experience in the administering of First Aide and the appropriate qualifications**.**

**Role**:
The position requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills along with a sound knowledge of school administration processes and procedures. Working in the office, you would have contact with a broad cross-section of the school community and require an ability to work closely with, and offer support to parents, students and staff.

The position would involve co-ordinating, organising and determining work priorities within the front office to ensure the efficient operation of the work area. This position requires knowledge of a range of existing processes, guidelines and established procedures and where necessary, an ability to suggest modifications and improvements, in consultation with the Business Manager.

A position at this level would be expected to have a strong background in office administration as it involves entering and retrieving data, financial processes such as recording payments, banking and EFTPOS transactions along with the demands of a busy office supporting teachers, students and parents.

The successful applicant will provide direction when necessary to other ES staff and support to the campus leadership team while working directly with the Campus Principal and assistant Principal. The role will require high level time management skills and a buoyant personality.

The office is often the first point of contact for our community so it is very important that the office is welcoming, efficient and well organised. A professional manner when dealing with the public, both in person or by telephone, is a major component of this role. A high level of experience in school administration would be an advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Requires specialist knowledge and skills in the use of all components of CASES 21 student administration and finance.
- Professional and technical knowledge which would generally be gained through several years of experience.
- Co-ordinate, organise and determine work priorities within a school office.
- Well developed knowledge in the use of C21 Student Administration and Finance and Compass Management systems
- An ability to enter data using C21and Compass, produce invoices/statements, receipt monies, EFTPOS and prepare banking as per DET guidelines.
- The ability to produce complex documents in word and other associated programs such as Excel..
- Ensure the efficient operation of the work area within the regular direction of senior management
- Appropriate level of training and qualifications in the administering of First Aid.
- Possesses appropriate interpersonal skills, organisational skills and experience relating to working closely with, and offering support to staff, students, parents and members of the entire College community.
- Other duties as directed by the Principal.
- A satisfactory probationary period is a requirement for ongoing employment.
