**About the department**

Patient Services Assistants form one of the largest staff groups and provide services throughout the clinical areas of the Division of Surgery Anaesthesia and Procedural Medicine (SAPM). SAPM is the largest Division within Austin Health and PSA’s provide a variety of services including cleaning, patient movement and other Departmental services. These areas are located at Austin Campus and Repat Campus and include the Operating Theatres, Recovery, Endoscopy Suites, Day Surgery and inpatient surgical wards: 9 West and TSC.

**About the role**

The Objective of the PSA Manager is to provide leadership and support to our PSA leading hands across the Division of SAPM to effectively manage our PSA teams. The PSA Manager will ensure all PSA work practices meet the required standards and performance measures for continued improvement and will work in close association with the Divisional Manager and the NUM’s of each unit and is part of the group responsible for cleaning audits of Clinical areas.

Essential: Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning standards and auditing process
Desirable: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in budget management

Desirable: certificate 4 in training and assessment
