You will be a key contributor to the success of compliance activities in achieving positive outcomes, including in the area of harm minimisation.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor Analysts within the Program Development and Governance unit.
- Using business intelligence software (primarily Oracle BI), research and analyse data and information to identify compliance trends and issues within the liquor and aming industries and measure outcomes of compliance programs and initiatives.
- Using process analysis and modelling techniques, contribute to the development and implementation of innovative compliance programs and initiatives to achieve ustainable liquor and gaming compliance outcomes.
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative data analysis to contribute to defining and improving business processes.
- Provide quality advice and recommendations to the management team to ensure that relevant data is captured to enable the timely and accurate extraction of information to monitor, evaluate and enhance compliance programs and initiatives.
- Prepare submissions, briefs, reports and correspondence relating to the operations of the Compliance Division.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and partnership agencies such as the Queensland Police Service, developing effective working relationships.
- Provide analytical expertise and guidance to assist other functions of the Compliance Division.

Mandatory Qualifications, Conditions and Requirements The holder of this position:

- must hold at least a current 'C' class drivers licence;
- may be required to travel throughout the state and interstate;
- may be required to work hours outside the normal work hours
