The ICT Manager - Security & Risk sets the ICT Security Strategy for Goodstart to ensure the continuity of business systems, the protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and sensitive information of children, families, and staff, and establishing IT controls that demonstrate compliance to accepted industry and regulatory standards.

**Your Impact**:
**The core functions of the ICT Manager - Security & Risk are**:
Design and implement of Goodstart’s ICT Security Strategy
Develop and maintain ICT Risk Registers
Design and implement Goodstart’s Security Information and Event Management Plans
Design and implement Goodstart’s Vulnerability & Threat Management Plans
Lead ICT risk assessments against industry standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, CIS 18 Controls, ASD Essential 8)
Lead all ICT audit and compliance activities (internal and external) to support the overall organisational audit program
Working closely with the National Risk & Assurance team to provide all ICT inputs for Goodstart’s Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery plans
Design and maintain appropriate education and awareness artefacts/solutions to promote a cybersecurity culture in which our people are our best defence.

Success in this role is measured by the continued ability to reduce organisational risks due to technology failures to as low as reasonably practicable and ensuring our people are strong advocates for, and are well educated in, good security and risk practices.

**You’ll bring to the table**:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
Industry Certification - CISSP or CISM / CompTIA Security+, SSCP
Minimum of 5 Years IT management experience
Demonstrated ability to articulate and present security and risk technology matters at all levels in the organisation - centre staff, Centre Support Office staff, Executives and Board members
Proven experience with the Security Operations Centre environments, including SIEM,VM and Incident Response Handling.
