Disability Support Worker

Here at BARA CARE Disability support services, we have a genuine desire to provide the best quality care for people with disabilities.

We are looking for fun, creative and energetic support workers to assist our NDIS participants in a range of community-based activities.
- Providing support on matters of personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing and more
- Administering medications
- Transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and general assistance with mobility
- Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparation
- Community engagement, such as attending doctors appointments, grocery shopping or other social or recreational activities of their choice
- This role is ideal for people who to work flexible hours on a roster system - BARA CARE provide 24/7 assistance, meaning the more available you are, the more shifts we can potentially offer you
- An hourly rate based on your industry-related experience and qualifications
- Flexibility to support your lifestyle and commitments

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.70 per hour

Schedule:

- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- Cer III or above in Disability Services (required)
- Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required (required)
- First Aid and CPR Certification (required)
- Blue and Yellow Card (required)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module & NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Experience with ASD and challenging behaviours (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (required)
- Night Shift (required)

Work Location: In person
