**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- Professional couple requires a nanny to care for, and contribute to the development of, their beautiful 2.5 year old good natured boy for around three days per week 8am to 5:30pm, but with the possibility for extra hours or days if desired by the nanny. Above market rate to be negotiated with the successful applicant. The parents are open to engaging the successful applicant as a part time employee such that the nanny will be entitled to annual and personal leave.

**Your Duties**:

- The successful applicant will support the care and development of the child with a particular focus on learning and development through play. She or he will not be expected to perform any general cleaning tasks but will be responsible for basic cleaning of child's eating and drinking utensils, clothes and toys/play area. The successful applicant will be required to, amongst other things:

- encourage the development of fine and gross motor activities to promote development milestones;
- implement and monitor routines as set by the child's parents;
- prepare and serve the child's meals;
- collaborate with the child's parents to track his development milestones and provide enriching actvities and experiences beyond basic care;
- keep the child's parents up-to-date with child’s activities, behaviour, wellness etc;
- where the work commitments of the parents allow, transport the child to visit child's parents or either of them during work days.

- The ideal applicant is a caring child care professional with experience in working with toddlers and who is committed to supporting the development of the child according to routines and principles set in conjunction with the parents.
