**What you will be doing**:
You will be responsible for the coordination and processing of an accurate and
timely end to end weekly payroll for all staff, and to ensure Dysons’ compliance with its Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and legislative requirements.

**You will**:

- **Process Payroll**: Prepare and process weekly payroll for all staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to required timeframes.
- ** Ensure Compliance**:Ensure the correct interpretation of Awards and EBAs, staying updated with payroll legislative changes, and ensuring all payroll processes are compliant.
- ** Audit and Compliance**: Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and rectify compliance issues and maintain accurate payroll records.
- ** Payroll Queries**: Manage the Payroll inbox and respond to all payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders.
- ** Records Management**: Maintain accurate pay records, employee data, leave balances, and other payroll-related information in compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
- ** Reconciliations**: Reconcile and balance payroll-related items such as payroll tax, PAYG, FBT, superannuation, payment summaries, and authorized deductions.
- ** Reporting**: Prepare and distribute End-of-Pay, Month-End, and Year-End payroll reports within required timeframes.
- ** Team Management**: Manage and support Payroll Officers, ensuring the smooth operation of payroll activities.
- ** Government Submissions**:Prepare and submit various forms and returns for Centrelink, the ATO, and other government agencies.
- ** Stakeholder Communication**: Actively communicate payroll matters to stakeholders and keep them informed of any impacts on the business.
- ** Manager Coaching**: Coach and support managers to help them understand and fulfil their payroll-related responsibilities.
- ** Ad-hoc Tasks**:Handle ad-hoc payroll and administrative tasks as required.

**Skills you will need**:

- ** Experience**: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a high-volume, fast-paced senior payroll role, demonstrating strong expertise in managing complex payroll functions.
- ** Payroll Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, calculations, and up-to-date understanding of relevant payroll legislation.
- ** Technical Proficiency**: Proficient in using payroll software and systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
- ** Customer Service Orientation**: Strong customer service focus with exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- ** Organizational Skills**: Highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize large and complex workloads in a dynamic environment.
- ** Team Player**: A cooperative team player with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support colleagues in a busy environment.
- ** Discretion**: Proven ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
