Orthotic Technician

We are looking for a workshop hand that can work independently and within a team manufacturing custom foot inserts.You will be required for custom orthotic assembly (cutting of materials, Gluing, measuring)..

No experience is required, and thorough onsite training is provided.

The role includes Monday - Friday work on a full-time basis. It can suit a self-driven person of any age with a strong eye for detail.

Location: Mount Kuring-Gai

**This role includes**:

- Manufacturing of custom-made orthotics (onsite training provided)
- Gluing and cutting covers for the devices
- Using CNC routers and other hand tools
- General workshop cleaning

**About Virtual Orthotics**:

- Established in 1999 - Podiatrist and Software Engineer
- Leader in utilising technology with efficient manufacturing methods and developing new designs.
- Customers (podiatrists) both domestic and international incl private clinics, hospitals and universities.
- Developed a software platform (and owns IP) unique to the industry, which features 3D scanning of feet (& casts), orthotic design, and CAD-CAM milling.
- Design prefabricated orthotics for mass production and has a division associated with footwear design.
- Additive manufacturing processes (3D printing)

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Australia (preferred)
