**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Deputy Editor, your responsibilities will include:

- Producing compelling digital copy, including exclusives and breaking news, by sourcing accurate information.
- Establishing excellent relationships with 7NEWS colleagues, including Journalists, Social Media Managers/ Producers, Chiefs of Staff and News Directors to ensure efficient, accurate and comprehensive coverage of news items.
- Sourcing and producing eye-catching and compelling imagery and video to complement, reinforce and strengthen coverage of news.

**About You**:
You will have a passion for journalism and a drive to deliver accurate and compelling stories, a track record of producing reliable journalism and possess a keen understanding of what resonates with digital audiences nationwide.

**You will have**:

- Proven experience as a digital editor and news reporter.
- Experience using a CMS with a working knowledge of SEO practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines and juggle conflicting priorities.
- An understanding of what it takes to run a homepage and social media pages.
