**Job Overview**: As a Production Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring our manufacturing equipment is in optimal condition to deliver seamless operations. You will be responsible for conducting maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the production team during both day and night 12-hour shifts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on production machinery to prevent downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during production and implement appropriate solutions promptly.
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential problems and take proactive measures.
- Collaborate with production operators to optimize workflow and achieve production targets.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals to assemble, fit, and install mechanical components accurately.
- Comply with safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Document work performed, parts used, and any other relevant information accurately.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Production Fitter in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the beverage can or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocols and procedures.
- Flexibility to work day and night 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.

**Education and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional technical certifications or training in mechanical engineering or a related field is an advantage.
