**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Major Project Delivery Lead to join the City of Melton, one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia to work with the Head Major Project Delivery to deliver a number of major projects.

The role will provide high level advice to coordinate and manage stakeholder engagement of transformational projects including the Cobblebank Community Services Hub and the Plumpton Aquatic Centre. As part of the Major Projects team this position will focus on securing, attracting, and managing commercial and not for profit tenants. In addition, you will work with Council staff and external parties to secure state and Federal grant funding.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the stakeholder engagement of transformational major projects including the Cobblebank Community Services Hub and Plumpton Aquatic Centre to achieve best-practice outcomes for Council.
- Prepare grant reports for existing grants and provide information to secure additional grants for major projects as directed by the Head Major Project Delivery.
- Assist the Head Major Project Delivery in the preparation of high-quality reports and presentations.
- Establish and manage project working groups of external and internal stakeholders to inform the development of the major projects.
- Develop strong partnerships and ensure collaboration and engagement across the tenant organisations to achieve best-practice outcomes for Council.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- A post-secondary qualification relevant to the role, such as social sciences, business management, communications and engagement, or substantive experience in related discipline.
- An understanding and awareness of health gaps and the socio-economic and political context of issues impacting upon diverse growth areas within a growth area setting.
- Time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and synthesise vast amounts of information to manage ongoing requests for action.
- Highly developed verbal, written and presentation skills including Microsoft Software Applications.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
