**THE ROLE**

The Systems Data Governance Analyst will play a key role towards data driven decision making and provide advice and input into the ICT transition project to streamline ICT processes, improve data quality and uplift current systems as part of the establishment of the new Social Services Regulator.

The role will support the implementation of enhancements for Social Services Regulator systems across the Department. The Systems Data Governance Analyst is required to work with the department and regulatory teams to ensure the Social Services Regulator ICT transition project is rolled out smoothly, which includes collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.

The position will be responsible for change management, documentation of ICT processes, data governance and supporting the delivery of the project by:

- Coordinating strategic and operational data governance activities, including alignment with projects and priorities
- Foster internal networks and educate key personnel on data governance topics to encourage consistency and best practice
- Lead identification and ongoing monitoring of critical data elements, establish Data Governance working groups, and coordinate updates of data standards.
- Lead best data quality practices for successful adoption of new systems and enhancements

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Planning and co-ordination of change, data governance activities and business readiness preparations with target audiences
- Facilitation of ICT support and training sessions for all Human Services Regulator staff
- Design and development of ICT change/transition progress reports
