**About the Role**

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administration officer to join our team.

The Development Administration Officer will provide a range of administrative support to the Manager - Building and Compliance, and the Building and Compliance team.

In this role you will:

- Provide frontline customer service related to the Planning, Development, and Infrastructure Act and Regulations
- Initiate Development Approvals and minor variations
- Process building notifications, Statements of Compliance and Certificates of Occupancy
- Book building inspections and process building inspection reports
- Support the Building and Compliance team with other administration support as required

You are someone who can demonstrate experience in a similar administrative role, including the ability to work effectively with the community and other organisational stakeholders. You will have some understanding of Planning, Development, and Infrastructure regulations and demonstrate good initiative and problem-solving skills.

You will also possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet conflicting deadlines whilst willing to work in a progressive and fast paced team environment. **(This is a must).**
