We are seeking a trainee to join our beautiful service

Our Busy Bees Altona Meadows service is a beautiful, two-storey building, fitted out with 6 stunning rooms. Our service caters to children from 6 weeks to 6 years with a licensed capacity of 114 Children per day. We have a very hands on and productive leadership team who are on the floor helping educators were applicable, we believe that positive role modelling is the best way to inspire and support your team. We are located a short drive down the Point Cook Road, exit off the freeway and have easy access to public transport as well.- Fantastic, Above-Award hourly rates and work-life balance- An opportunity to gain further knowledge while working for a leading global brand in the Early Childhood industry and grow professionally- Great team environment

For eligible persons support payments may apply, up to $5,000 over a two-year period for a full-time employee. All registered trainees receive paid study and training time. Free or subsidised course fees for eligible people may apply.

Essential Qualifications- Willingness to enrol in or currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (or its equivalent).- Must be eligible to obtain or already possess a valid Working With Children Check.

Essential Skills and Attributes- Demonstrated interest in early childhood education and a commitment to professional learning and development.- Basic verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and contribute positively to the service environment.- Punctuality and a sense of responsibility, recognizing the importance of consistency for children.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Any prior experience with children, such as babysitting, coaching, or volunteering, can be beneficial, even if it's not in a formal educational setting.- Some initial awareness of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) would be advantageous.- Basic proficiency in using technology, as there might be software or apps used for documentation or communication in the service.
