**Your New Role**

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated** Clinical Manager** to lead and support our care team at Walmsley Aged Care on a full-time basis. Located in **Kilsyth**, Walmsley Aged Care is home to 120 residents and is a stylish, purpose built Aged Care Facility which opened its doors in November 2022.

In this pivotal and highly rewarding position, your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and managing our clinical team, including training, coaching on best practice and care principles
- Ensuring quality of care delivery provided to residents meets and exceeds best practice
- Assisting with preparation and leadership for site audits and accreditations
- Identifying and managing care related risks
- Management of resident needs and complex issues as required
- Operations management, including overseeing recruitment, roster management and some administrative tasks
- Feedback management including investigation and response to concerns raised
- Promoting a positive staff culture to support solid staffing outcomes
- Supporting current change reforms currently underway
- Capture, record and evidence continuous improvement initiatives

**About you**:
As well as being an accomplished Clinical Manager and Leader, you will align to our Values of** Bold, Warm and Honest**. You will be able to demonstrate empathy and the ability to provide excellent clinical care for our residents, whilst effectively leading and supporting a team.
- Knowledge of accreditation procedures and standards
- Experienced Registered Nurse with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Excellent interpersonal skills and extensive leadership and management experience
- An experienced and accomplished operator with understanding of daily operations and staff management
- Proven ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives and implement new systems and processes
- Understanding financial management; ability to identify funding mismatches, clinical consumables in-line with budget and support requirements.
- Experience in operational management including recruitment and rostering; ideally in a facility or clinical management position.
- Fully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID 19 (2 Doses)
