Marketing Specialist, Market Development

Plan and execute market development activities. Support the organization with high-quality analysis into market conditions and potential.

**Essential Job Functions**:
Plan and execute programs to accelerate the referral pathway and drive therapy penetration.
Perform complex analyses of market and/or hospital dynamics through utilizing understanding of related area (e.g., hospital capacity factors)
Perform complex market and competitive analysis (e.g., qualitative and quantitative pricing data)
Recommend and lead the design of reports to help management make business decisions
Lead the identification and management of pre and post analytics on events/programs for continuous improvement including design and project management
Adopt and develop promotion materials including translation coordination, adjustments and printing in accordance with promotional material SOP while partnering with internal and external stakeholders. Lead market material adoption and usage by the field team and coordinate any adjustments needed, including new material creation
Increase referring physician awareness of TAVI to minimize patient drop-out.
Assist in developing social media strategy, website development, and other digital marketing tactics.
Establish clear project objectives with which to plan and measure future business and market performance.
Monitor and report on performance metrics of global market development action plans

**Education/Experience**:
Bachelors Degree with 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
Advanced computer skills including usage of MS Office Suite
Experience working in a global matrixed environment
Ability to develop complex models, spreadsheets, and reports
Fluency in English and local language required;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to analytics
Understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools
Knowledge on customer service level on Edwards products and customers
Understanding of medical device markets, specifically in cardiology
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
