Apprentice Furniture Maker

We are currently looking for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice furniture maker to join our team full time at J R Bespoke Designs.

We mainly make hardwood timber freestanding furniture so experience with hardwood timber is preferred but not necessary. Experience in cabinet making and carpentry would also be considered.

Your role could include
- Timber machining and dressing
- Occupational health and safety processes and procedures
- Furniture assembly, sanding and finishing
- Installation of Blum hardware and fittings
- a strong communicator
- detail orientated
- have high work standards
- be punctual
- work well in a team environment and on individual tasks

Drivers license and car are essential

Full time hours - Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm

Saturday work is not standard but may be needed on occasion (overtime paid).

As the successful applicant, we would support you attending TAFE to complete Certificate III in Cabinet making/furniture MSF31113

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Preston, VIC 3072: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction & Extraction Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
