**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This role will see you harness your skills as an experienced **Electrical Leading Hand** to become a valuable member of our WA operations.

Operating within our production team, you will assist with the co-ordination of site and workshop activities to ensure work is completed to the required standard, on-time and within budget.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

As an Electrical **Leading Hand**, you will play a vital role in managing key projects and products. Some of the main aspects of your role will include:

- Ensuring employees are working efficiently and productively
- On the job involvement, layout, assembly, overhaul, inspection and wiring of projects
- Identify outstanding materials and expedite via your supervisor or purchasing officer
- Carry out equipment re-designs modification, re-wire and repair as needed
- Provide information to Electrical Workshop Supervisor on status of current jobs, ensure any required overtime is approved by the Electrical Workshop Supervisor prior to the commencement of overtime shifts
- Demonstrating safety leadership behaviour and engaging employees around health and safety issues

Your willingness to get hands on in a workshop environment will be complimented by the following:

- Electrical trade qualifications
- Electrical Supervisors Certificate
- Previous experience managing a group of people
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivation and flexibility to meet deadlines, operational changes and customer requirements
