Job Description

**The role**:
Reporting to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager, you will also work closely with other Maintenance team members and various teams across the Burleigh Heads facility.

In this role you will lead and manage daily maintenance operations including managing resources & processes across preventative maintenance, breakdowns, fabrication, and machining of spare parts. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring Safety, Quality and Operational standards are achieved.

**Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to**:

- Demonstrating strong fault finding and problem resolution capabilities to ensure minimum downtime of all plant equipment.
- Promoting and taking action to embed a high-performance team culture including a proactive approach to Safety, Quality and Customer Service.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the team.
- Ensuring preventative maintenance is completed to a high standard.

Desired Skills and Experience

**About you and your skills and experience**:

- You have a current Trade Certification.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience within a food processing environment will be highly regarded.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- You are a team player.
- Strong understanding of GMP & HACCP requirements.
- Experience with packaging machinery (Multivac, Bizerba, Vemag) food packaging equipment.
- Understanding of the meat industry.
