Inbound Warehouse Planner

FULL TIME ROLE
- $60,000 - $70,000 SALARY

- Our client is a National Furniture Wholesale business based in Thomastown, Victoria with Distribution centres throughout Australia.
- They are currently looking for an Inbound Warehouse Planner to work with their Warehouse & Distribution Manager, who currently oversees the administrative operation of our warehouse in Melbourne & liaises with our interstate distribution partners.
- The existing warehouse team will assist you throughout your journey, however some experience in the field of warehouse management & distribution would be preferred.**Duties & Skills may include but not limited to**
- Managing planning & delivery of inbound container shipments to local & Interstate Distribution Centres
- Booking & Managing container crew at Melbourne Warehouse
- Overseeing and Managing casual staff on site
- Enforcing proper unloading procedures and storage of product into warehouse
- Forklift operating (Critical)
- Moving stock (manually) as required
- Order Picking as required
- Communicating with interstate logistic partners & transport carriers
- Stocktake (Local & interstate as required)
- Product QC as required
- Product Assembly as required
- Maintaining Accurate & up to date information in ERP system
- Liaising & communicating with the MP team regularly
- Attend warehouse meetings are required
- Reporting to Director, CSCO & COO as required

- Has great team management skills. You will be responsible for managing a small team of workers, therefore strong people management skills are essential to ensure the warehouse is efficient and effective.
- Strong computer literacy is critical to ensure you can work efficiently and meet the demands of the role. Having recently introduced a new ERP system, much of the information required to operate will be derived from your PC
