**Storeperson - Trade Assistant**:
**Company Overview**:
Our Valued Rail services client is one of the largest integrated and diversified suppliers of railroad, transit system products and services in Australia.
An opportunity exists for a Storeperson to join their team on a Mon - Fri Day shift based in Auburn, New South Wales.

**Role Tasks & Duties**:
**The role includes but not limited to**:

- Operating the Forklift - Loading & Unloading palletised items off the back of flatbed trucks & onto racking within the facility.
- Operating the Overhead / Pendent crane - Moving palletised items within the facility & taking them through to the maintenance sheds.
- Logging goods in & goods out using IT Software (AX / SAP) computerised inventory system.
- Stock taking & general warehouse duties.

**Required Skills, Experience and Competencies**:

- A valid NSW LF Forklift & Driving License. (Must have proven practical onsite operating hours).
- Inventory/cycle counting & dispatch experience.
- Ability to proactively organise / prioritise work task in a professional efficient manner both in an autonomously and as part of a team.
- Adhere to all OHS policies and procedures.
- High level communications and interpersonal skills.
- High level problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to further their knowledge and skills with additional training.
- Partial completion of mechanical trade or overseas trade highly desirable.

**Desirables**:

- Demonstrated experience in using stock control system such as Maximo, AX, SAP or similar computerised ERP inventory system.
- Previous Stores experience at working in a Heavy Industry Engineering or Manufacturing Workshop environment.
- VOC / Operating experience of Overhead / Pendent Crane advantageous.

**Additional requirements**:

- Passing a pre-employment medical with D&A screening.
- Australian fulltime working rights.

**What Is On Offer?**
- $41.23 Per hour plus penalties.
- Immediate starts, 3 months initial contract with view to extend & OT opportunities.
- Mon - Fri Day Shift (typically working hours 6.30am - 2.30pm).
