**About you**

You will have recently completed your university degree and looking to commence your career within the financial sector. You take an analytical approach to your work and your communication skills will allow you to develop strong trusting relationships with your customers, dealers and within your organisation. You will also have a high attention to detail and have exceptional organisational skills.

As a Credit Analyst you will carry out the activities necessary to provide credit to customers with acceptable limits of risk to the company. You will negotiate financial transactions, prepare transactions for documentation and funding within limits of authority.

**Some of the key principle duties and responsibilities will include;**
- Negotiate financial transactions and prepares transactions for documentation within limits of credit authority. Assists in negotiating financial and in preparing transactions for documentation for transactions in excess of credit authority.
- Determine customer credit worthiness, approves/rejects customer transactions within approved credit authority, recommends transactions beyond credit authority, and restructures customer deals. Conducts and monitors credit investigations.
- Participate in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.

**Key Skills, Abilities and Knowledge required;**
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- Knowledge of financing and taxation principles.
- Understanding of marketing, credit and customer services concepts and techniques.
- Knowledge of financing and leasing products and documentation principles.
- Knowledge of security filing requirements and their applicability to bankruptcy laws and regulations.
- Ability to analyse customer credit summaries and past due accounts.

**Education/Experience**:
Recent graduate and/or 1-2 years relevant work experience

A university degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Commerce or Accounting or equivalent diploma is required.
