The hospital features 486 beds, 50-bed Emergency Department, 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs, world-class education centre, doctors lounge and excellent staff facilities including café and car parking.

Northern Beaches Hospital Food Service departments is looking to employ** two full time Food Services Assistants **to join their busy department ASAP. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

**As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include**:

- Assist in preparation of food trays for patient consumption
- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays in accordance to established meal schedules
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Clean and sanitize food service equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards

**Selection Criteria**:

- Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
- Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
