**The opportunity**:
You will assist with presentation standards of the Penguin Encounter exhibit and undertake animal husbandry and exhibit maintenance tasks for the Antarctic penguins to maintain excellent health.

**Your day to day**:

- Assist with presentation standards of Penguin Encounter exhibit including snow blows, ice cleaning and removal
- Develop an understanding of animal training and conditioning techniques and behavioral enrichment to be able to maintain appropriate behavioral management of penguins.
- Perform relevant education talks and interactive tours to provide an educational experience to guests and students.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Previous experience with preventative health, behavioral management, enrichment and husbandry of animals in professional care
- Bachelor of Science degree or Certificate III in Captive Animal

Management is required
- Able to work in cool environments ranging from -1.0C to +10.0C
- A level of fitness required to complete all tasks in assigned area
- Available to work on any day including weekends
