Stores Administrator

We require a **Stores Administrator** to provide technical administrative support to the Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, and other team members. The Stores Administrator will have excellent forward planning skills with an organised approach to enable successful inventory control of the maintenance division. This role is key to ensuring critical parts are stocked, preventing manufacturing stoppages and enabling the maintenance team to maintain smooth operation of all manufacturing machinery.

**Duties include, but not limited to**:

- Forward planning and purchasing of critical stock.
- Maintaining stock in locations to best practice and conduct stock-take as per company requirements.
- Process purchase orders (P2P) for parts and service.
- On-boarding maintenance contractors, ensuring inductions are completed before first shift.
- Preparation and typing of correspondence, reports etc.
- Manage all information in Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Develop and maintain an Engineering Administrator Handbook incorporating task instructions, protocols, templates, timelines etc.
- Adhering to budgets and weekly reporting of maintenance expenditure.
- Attend safety related meetings and provide input to all meetings.

**Skills / experience required**:

- A strong administration background, ideally within an engineering/maintenance role (may also be suited for someone looking to get off the tools and work in admin)
- Highly organised and capable to prioritise own workload to meet divisional stock requirements
- Understanding of manufacturing / fixed plant machinery and parts is highly desirable but on the job training can be provided
- Experience in purchasing stock, inventory of stock and general warehousing
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills across varying people demographics
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word & Excel) Pronto experience is highly desired
- Valid drivers license and full Australian work rights
